These images are wonderful. I love the "organic meets geometric" quality of the lines. (Makes me think of Nicole's project book too)
The middle image is what I'm most drawn to, and I think that it's because of the resemblance it bears to my project book. I do really like the subtle quality of the yellow-green background foliage with the violet-green foreground. I think that enhances the dynamic of the composition and keeps the eye moving through the image.
I think I would like the image on the left better, if it were cropped horizontally in half. The heavily blurred bottom and dark spot on the left seem to distract me from the beauty of the lines at the top. Perhaps if there were another blurred spot in the top half, it wouldn't seem so disconnected?
The decision to narrowly crop the image on the right, helps give the feeling that those pieces are compacted tightly, into a small space. It is uncomfortably small, but the wispy left side seems to add an element of breath that is just enough to loosen up the pieces.
All in all, truly beautiful images! I think I'll be walking around, looking UP for the next few days :)
